It would be a dreadful mistake to ship water from the North West down to the London area. We have very dry periods as well with low reservoirs and hosepipe bans. The south should make its own sensible provision with more reservoirs, compulsory water meters, tackling leaks, investing more by cutting dividends to shareholders, and a halt to the 250, 000 immigrants we get annually (known ....unknbwn illegal number) who settle largely in the south.
