At the start of the campaign the up to date data was supplied by the Council Legal Dept showing number of houses, occupancy and just over 12,000 empty properties in Salford. In addition KSE asks here about Regen budgets. The Council legal two weeks ago confirmed these Salford amounts for 2011/12 as £153m (only £77m from grants) and in 2012/12 estimate by them is £128million (only £54m from grants). Facts as a council tax payer I found astonishing.
