It is ludicrous to include Bell, Lee and Summerbee and leave out players of the stature of Eric Cantona, Brian Robson and Mark Hughes, let alone European Footballer of the Year Michael Owen and World Player of the Year George Weah. City's trinity were decent enough players in their day, but were pygmies on a European and world level, and forgotten by anyone other than city fans.
