I agree. Back when the Stretford end was standing, no one thought twice about chanting a players name and almost everyone joined in. Now, you get up and chant and if a steward doesn't tell you to sit down, people look at you like you're mad.

More than a singing section, they need standing sections.

I don't see why they couldn't take the Stretford end and split it up into many sections and make them all standing? That way, the whole end could be standing, yet it would prevent the possibility of crush injuries by making each section small and segregated.
