I've seen a video taken of Strangeways a day or so after the prisoners were moved out. Everything was wrecked, no items intact in any room, i.e., toilets, sinks, windows, brick walls with holes in and deification everywhere. You might form an opinion that they did the crime, serving the time but these was an act of animals.

Prison is a punishment for doing wrong and your removal from freedom not a holiday camp, it should be about rehabilitation with the minimum.
