If Salford would just get the Highways Agency to do something about the motorway approach along the M602 which is unbelievably depressing with a featureless concrete wall for miles. Anyone coming along the M602 thinks they are disappearing into hell, it really needs something doing to the visual environment like planting trees along this stretch and ivy on that concrete wall. I am sure it would change the perception of the whole city.
