Just following on from what you said Dave about the 200k being 'dead' money and it forming part of a deal to buy EP back, you are right that a fair price needs to be agreed. But I feel there would be no harm in starting talks with one or more of our neighbours and if a groundshare deal looked likely then County would be negotiating from a stronger postion if there was a possiblity of leaving EP - this would leave the current owners to 'ponder' over their predicament. Wonder if the current owners would allow an open, transparent audit from 2003 - just to set the record straight on exactly what has been invested in County, what assets have been sold off, etc, etc and to include all gate receipts revenue streams, etc. Might help determine a 'ballpark' figure whilst also remembering that when the current owners bought EP, County had just been relegated from the Championship. We are now a non league club under the same EP ownership - as someone else has previously mentioned on these pages - that is a fact!!!!!! and which I feel should be taken account of when determining a realistic price for EP. BTW, Do you think a ground share is feasible and with who?
