I cant quite believe I have read this ... there is already considerable anger and unease about the Parklife Weekender coming back to Platt Fields this year as the park is just not in a fit state to cope with the terrible damage that this festival incurred last year. And that was with 50,000 people attending./ The prospect of upping the numbers by another 20,000 is a cynical and highly depressing move on the part of organisers who know perfectly well about everyone's concerns. They will also be in breach of the licence that allows a maximum of 50,000 (25,000 per day).
