If I could afford to eat out it wouldn't be one of those places or a 'fancy' restaurant either! I'd far rather support a local independent restaurant or cafe or whatever you want to call it where they actually care about the food and service. I expect the majority of people who work at these chains aren't that motivated - maybe that's why they're called chains because for most it's slave labour!
