Grateful for the 3 points but that was utter crap. No drive, no passion and just too poor. Lucky to come away with the 3 points. Giggs set a bad tone giving the ball away 3 of the first 4 possessions. He continually gave away the ball killing any positive play. Here are some observations:
Wellbeck needs to learn that he has to make an impact every time he plays or he will lose his place.Not a bad performance by him but not efficient again in front of goal. Was not helped by the scrappy passes from Giggs.
Young, I start to call him Mr. Go backwards all the time. Does not provide the drive a winger needs at United. Did not take on anybody all night.
Chicharito is having a frustrating second season. Bad first touch, basically falling all over himself all night, or just offsides, he needs to get it togather.
Gigs should not be starting games for us now. Gave away the ball all night.
Evans continue to improve but he needs to marshall the back four and that means being more vocal with team mates.
Management with a whole week off between games that was a flat performance. They should have taken Giggs off at halftime.
Rio, hurt again? If he is then this has just become a lottery for us as far as staying in front.
