Typical rubbish trotted out about the numbers of certain people in certain jobs. YOU CAN'T force people into careers because of their ethnicity or culture etc. Make teaching as attractive a position as possible to ALL, if suited, motivated and qualified and let the best people teach, be they black, white, green it doesn't matter. It's exactly the same drivel as spouted about police race and gender quotas, the fact is that certain cultures, groups and communities have their own ideas about what is a valuable, prestigious and worthy career, and indeed what is not. You cant preach diversity and inclusiveness on one hand and try and force people into careers they don't value or desire, against their cultures and beliefs because of some hand-wringing liberal worry about a problem that probably doesn't even exist.
