'Bsically if you are white and middle class your opinion isn't valid on any subject these days.'

do you have any evidence to prove this statement? i believe you will find many working class people have a similar complaint.

'I read recently that there should be a certain number of black managers in the Premier League in order to crrectly represent society yet there are many black players playing for England so are they over represented? Where do you stop? In a squad of 24 I suppose there should be Asians and Chinese too?'

it is not a matter of filling quotas it is about equal opportunity. a few years ago i spent some time with the head of one of the top schools in the north west, a white and middle class gentleman who told me in no uncertain terms that i would have to work much much harder to achieve the same as my white counterparts. why? because im not white. did it come as a surprise to me? not at all.

are all white people prejudiced against ethnic minorities? no, i have encountered many who care very much for the people they are responsible for. ironically most of those people are middle class and white!

maybe a more pertinent question would be why shouldnt there be asian and chinese.
