Although I don't condone vandalism, I also don't condone parking a whole fleet of vehicles on a small, busy residential road! I used to live near Beech Road so can fully appreciate how tough it is finding a parking space and I would bet my life on the fact that there is an argumentative history here with this issue. Although people are right in saying that the vandalism was wrong (which it is) and that you don't own the road outside your house (also correct), people should take into consideration that there ARE people who NEED to park as close to their homes as possible - I can testify for this as I'm disabled with a walking stick and can't walk without extreme pain BUT I'm not registered disabled (that's something that's very hard to be registered for contrary to popular belief and you often need to appeal alongside doctors and solicitors before you're finally accepted) but if there is a whole fleet of vehicles, persistently parked all up your street, you have no choice but to park elsewhere (and pass the parking problems and anger onto OTHER residents on OTHER streets) - this isn't just one or two or even three cars - it was around eight vehicles and some much larger than a normal family car, therefore taking up two spaces with one vehicle.
