What a tragedy I used to drink in the Bulls Head on Chester Rd during the 60s. It was a Whitbread House and had live entertainment there at weekends, I even used to have lunch there sometimes at dinner time when I woprked in Hulme Hall Rd at English Abrasives, sadly the pub shut about 20 years ago, now I expect the place has gone for good.
