Football fans in general are treated like dirt by the Police. I go to matches regularly, am in my late 40's, never caused trouble, never looked for it, and have been shoved around and swore at by Police up and down the country... the Police seem to think its fair game to wind people up and then react with a baton when people object. If you were going to the cinema and were shoved up against a wall and asked to look into a video camera held by an officer and repeat your name age and address before you were allowed to go into see the film there'd be an outcry...It's par for the course for football fans. And ones that can be distinguished from hooligans too before that is mentioned. I've been on family coaches where the Police have treated us like a bus full of criminals.
