If this is true then let's not waste our time because we know we can't compete with either club in terms of the money and lets face it, that will be the deciding factor. .money !!! If we don't buy some quality in the summer then we will fall behind. After watching the game at Norwich yesterday I saw that we have some very average players. We have done brilliant this season to stay this close to city after all the injuries but could we do it again next season without adding quality to the team..I don't think so. City will buy again in the summer and we have to do the same...so the Yanks need to dig a bit deeper in the summer and not just talk about the funds that are meant to be available. There are quality players out there but we won't get them on the cheap.
