Individually, Kinkladze probably had even better balance and trickery to beat a player. HOWEVER Silva is far more effective and just as easy on the eye. In one of those kind of useless comparisons, it would be interesting to put Kinkladze into this team and see how he fared. My opinion is that he was such an indivualist as a player that he would not have had half the impact on us that Silva has. Silva also works his behind off when not in possession of the ball, both to help win it back, and to create angles to receive a pass from a team mate. I think Nasri summed it up when he said that if we want to play with the creative players in the side, then everyone has to be prepared to put in the hard yards too. Silva has embraced that philosophy without so much as an angry stare! I hope Silva stays at the club for a very long time, however, if he decides to return to Spain at some stage, I think he will go back a tougher and fitter player to add to his undoubted skills. He gets kicked and kicked by opponents and generally just gets straight back up and back at it. That takes courage and confidence and he has both by the bucket load. David is absolute class in everything he does. Just a word for Yaya too whilst at the praising of players. He has slotted straight back into form when so often players who go away to the african nations cup come back and lose form. The guy has a winning mentality that is vital to us and he also brings the best out of Silva, Barry, DeJong, Milner, AJ etc. Even now he still gets the odd dissenting comment on here, but the guy is the absollute heartbeat of our team and if he stays fit for the run in, we will win the league. On a rant now! Tevez! He is a contracted City player until such time as we sell him. We want to see him back to his best for two reasons, 1. help us win the league 2. get a better price for him in the summer. He is an emotional guy, he plays on emotion. When or if he pulls on a City shirt again, the best way to get the most from him is to get right behind him when he steps on that pitch, none of this boooing lark for me. Think that's all for now! C'mon City!!!!
