His problem was alwys with crosses. He insisted on standing on his line and was not therefore a 'sweeper' type of keeper, like Schmikes or VDS so, although he has perhaps been the best shot stopper at the club for the last 4 years, he was never capable of being first choice keeper and his 'sell by date' has clearly been reached.
