i have always been impressed by Mr Stewart, a shame that he lost out to Ms Blears for the chance to be Salfords MP.i think that when voting for a mayor people should look beyond the party label and look to the character of the candidate.As someone who is not a labour voter i would certainly vote for mr Stewart .Definately the best candidite from the various names being bandied about
