A signficant win this one. I sneered somewhat as I read Jim Gannon's match programme notes about County having the ability to beat any team in this division: "Prove it" I thought. And then County proceeded to do just that. We all know the mental aspect of Football is probably more important than physical skill and there was something going on during this game that I can't quite define but felt right. We've seen commitment from County teams at times during the past 3 seasons but there was more during this game - a quiet belief. Although Kidderminster (who looked a good team to me) started well, County slowly seemed to take control without being spectacular. This result sends an important message - County do not have to rely on good results against others around them (probably just as well). I don't expect miracles but we should steer clear of the bottom four, largely based on achieving more "surprise" results against higher teams - something I can't see the likes of Bath, Kettering doing.
