We are worse than Sheffield and Blackpool in the tram stakes. Blackpool has had trams for over a century and so aren't "Johnny come-lately" competitors abstracting revenue from pre-existing bus services. As for Sheffield; Supertram is integrated with local buses (specifically Stagecoach) AND stops are closer together, thus are more accessible to non-motorists. And that's before you get into arguments about how the system performs........ or doesn't.
