Which planet are Hudson, Lambert and co on?
How exactly will a new bus station interchange "regenerate" the town centre, are they expecting droves of people from other towns to come flocking here, to do what in particular: to shop? I doubt it. To be entertained? I doubt it.
To visit all the Pound and charity shops, to see the inside market and marvel at all the the empty spaces where the stalls should be? Possibly.
Will, there be a link to Rochdale's only public theatre, so they can all have rollicking entertainment and some culture? And even if there was, that would do little for the town centre would it?
The bus station etc will Change the town centre, that's all, and if it improves anything at all, that will be a first.....
There is only so much one can do in bus stations and the like, before you are moved on by the coppers, or mugged by passing goblins....
