Until 1983 Rossendale was ONE Constituency . . .then Ramsbottom was removed and placed in Bury North years later Haslingden was hived off to Hyndburn. When Ramsbottom was removed(a Valley Town)Darwen was added instead. . .over the hills and far away. . .Madness or what !
