Having worked in the British field hospital in Afghanistan and several other trusts in the North of England, I feel honoured to say that I have worked at North Manchester General. There are some excellent nurses and doctors in that hospital and I would confidently let them look after my own family. The staff work well as a team and get on with their difficult job, in increasingly difficult circumstances with a sence of humour and the occasional swear word. Morale is low in most NHS hospital at the moment, these are uncertain times, but the compassion and care displayed by staff at crumpsall should be applauded. Well done guys.
I shall be boycotting Dispatches because NHS professionals that care, just arn't newsworthy.
