Canada doesn't have a higher murder rate. The figures are disguised, Canada and the US publish Homicide stats which includes manslaughter or murder in 2 / 3 degree and vehicle homicide. UK figures shows murder only. Example: man dies in a bar fight, guy didn't mean to kill him when he hit him with a bottle: Manslaughter. Would be included in Canadian an US Homicide stats but not UK murder stats.
