I voted during the early evening and I was the only person voting at the time. This is how it has always been and I've voted in many elections. I might have gone much later expecting the same situation. I suspect that other people made the same assumption. Not all the people who were refused a vote were young and must have had no difficulty voting before. I think that something different happened this time and to blame youngstudents is an easy way out. Why are young people always demonised and blamed when the society in which we live was not shaped by them but by those of us who are considerably older?
