This is the culmination of decades of hand-wringing liberals who have destroyed a few generations. Gone is the responsibility of the parent(s) for the child. When you question someone's behaviour you are likely to receive (at best) a torrent of abuse. The government meddled and stopped chastisement of children - preferring instead to "reason" with a child. A child does not have the adult capacity for reason, and simply needs boundaries.

The constant and incessant meddling by government and childrens' organisations has allowed children to behave in a feral manner and run free and lawless.

From personal experience - children in Spain, France and Germany are taught to respect authority, and the constant onslaught of violence and ability to run riot are not present. Schools are strict and generally deal with unruly pupils in a strict and uncompromising fashion. An English pupil at a French school close to my family home was excluded recently for hitting a teacher. The school (and education board) have refused him entry to other schools in the Canton.

There is an old phrase - "you've made your bed...."
