I think while its easy to point out Jo scoring for scoring for novelty reasons (as I was), its little reflection on Hughes and City. Everton play a totally different style to us tactically, and I'm not just talking formation. Had Hughes had his way, Jo wouldn't have been his signing (yes he gave the greenlight, but if he had that 19mm earlier on it would have been spent elsewhere).

Hughes' fate will not be based on how many goals Jo scores for Everton or what position Everton end up in. He will be judged on his side and our standing end of the season. How they or Jo do have no bearing on our season.

I wish Jo all the best with the Toffees, means we can get more money back for him. He will not take the field against us so will save us the embarassment on the park, and as far as this season goes the prize for finishing 6th or 7th is the same (UEFA Spot). Everton have more injuries than us and their side with players to comeback is more than 6pts (current gap) to where we truly are.
