You only have to do a quick search for the words "Manchester Pride" and "Protest" to see why Mr Burke is absolutely right. This whole fiasco is a complete scandal and it's about time Pride was given back to the community and taken out the grubby hands of the corrupt arms length management of Marketing Manchester and their rich cowboy friends. The gay community itself are already at the end of their tether and I remember seeing "Pride Not Profit" placards in the parade this year.
