What I would like to know is who is it precisely that decides what the penalties for speeding or using a mobile phone will be. I would really like to know the names of these people, and also the names of those who came up with the outrageous criteria regarding the placement of safety cameras. Why don't they step into the light and make themselves accountable instead of hiding in the shadows hoping nobody will think to ask. It really makes my blood boil that these people (can) remain anonymous and unaccountable. And it goes without saying that when arriving at these decisions the interests of Big Business come first and foremost - the road lobby and telecommunications in this instance - and the hundreds of thousands who have been killed, and the suffering of their families and friends, are of no concern what-so-ever.
