Greetings from San diego, California. I am one of the few remaining members of the Statham family. My grandfather and uncles ran L Brown and sons next to the station, long before the bypass and built many houses in Wilmslow in the 30s and 40s. I went to schools in Wycliffe Ave and Chancel Lane in the 50s and then Kings Mac ., followed by Oxford. We have been in the States since 1969.
