Hi Middletonions, Just discovered the Middleton Guardian, I am delighted to read about fellow ex-pats. I moved here with my husband and children in 1969. I went to Durnford St. school, left in the early 50's. My sister Sheila and I used to go dancing in Blackley and Harperhey, I remember seeing Johnney Dankworth, Ted Heath and lots of lesser known bands in and arround Manchester about that time. That was a great time to be a teen ager. Would love to hear from any old school friends / classmates ect.
