Emigrated to canada with my parents in sept 1949 ,after attending Salford Grammar for 3 years Before that ,briefly attended St Bart's. My Mother ran a ladies millinery and hosiery shop in regent Rd near the library called "Elsie's ' and I spent much time at Salford Lads' club. I've kept up my support of the Salford Reds and to a lesser extent Utd and City. Always attend a match at the Willows when I visit. Regret that few landmarks have remained but must commend those responsible for the Quays. Let's hope that it is only the start of things to come!
