Left Rhodes area of Middleton in 1972 & emigrated to Canada. First school was Rhodes Primary (Broad Street) followed by Moorclose Secondary. Used to work in Middleton Junction at Hunt Heat Exchangers until I emigrated. People I use to hang around with in Rhodes were: Donald Hilton, Teddy Heywood, John (Noddy) Omerod, Dave Prior, Colin Pendlebury, Susan Fallows, Brenda Nunn. wonder if any of these people are still around the area.
