Hello, looking for any descendants of Anthony Flynn, Stacksteads who died in 1920. Many of his children did emigrate to Lynn, Massachusetts at the turn of the 20th century but some remained in Stacksteads. The family home was on Luke St., Stacksteads. There is a link between the Rossendale Valley and Massachusetts as there were many cotton mills in MA. Most emigrants to MAssachusetts from Lancashire did work in these cotton mills as spinners, weavers, tenders, printers, etc. In fact, in the old microfilms of newspapers in MA, there articles pertaining to "News" from Lancashire.
