I moved to the U.S. from the Rochdale environs in 1962 and have sorely missed it even though I manage to visit quite often. For most of my life there I lived in Newhey, then Rochdale, then Manchester. I'd like to locate Harry Wild, a jazz enthusiast and a butcher in those days whose parents kept a pub and a grocery store in Rochdale.
