I was born in Rochdale in 1948, my parents were Jim and Heather Hampson. We lived in Kirkholt. My aunt and uncle were Jack and Annie Rothwell, who had a pub in Rochdale for many years. We came to the USA in 1957. I still read all I can about England and follow the Rochdale news when I can.
