Two points: firstly if three quarters of an exam is done satisfactorily than it would surely be a pass - I have never heard of an exam where you have to get more than 75% to pass and secondly there is a real problem with the exam system in this country - between the ages of 4 and 16 years the average pupil will sit a total of 75 exam papers - are our children failing the exams or is the exam system failing our children?
