My name is Allan Crankshaw and I moved to Canada in 1952. Most people I knew in Bacup have moved on. Just asking if any of your readers go back far enough to remember the dances at the "Co-op Hall". I used to dance there with a girl who lived on Gladstone Ave. Thorn Estate, her name was Marvis Wilson. Don't know if Marvis is still around Bacup, it would be nice to talk over old times if she is.
