Hi, My name is Joan Haig nee Mussett and i am living in Perth, Western Australia. My father (now deceased) came from Rawtenstall and I did not have the opportunity to meet my grandparents, Harriett Ann Mitchell and Robert Sidney Mussett (also deceased). Father's name was James William Edward Mussett and he died aged 28 in 1948. On my mother's marriage certificate the witnesses are a James Edward Mussett and Nancy Mitchell whom i presume are my great-grandparents and on grandmother's death certificate which i have managed to acquire a copy the informant is listed as F. Mitchell, cousin. I am desperately hoping that someone somewhere over there is related to me, have never seem a picture of my father or grandparents, and any help would be appreciated.
