The Sheffield Wednesday midfielder scored three goals in 10 games during two months at Gigg Lane earlier in the season. And after signing Mike Jones from Bury for an undisclosed fee last week, Wednesday boss Gary Megson let Coke go the other way till the end of the season.

Prestwich Heys resumed their battle against relegation from the Bridgewater Office Supplies Manchester League Premier Division with a stirring fightback against Springhead at Grimshaw Park on Saturday.

Playing their first fixture for five weeks it looked like being a bleak afternoon for Heys when they went two goals down after half an hour but they rallied superbly with Brad Lyons reducing the arrears and player-manager Jon Lyons grabbing a second-half equaliser.
