Cannot believe there was no minutes silence before the game out of respect for the late macclesfield town manager!!! even had one at the England match!

We didn't have one for 'Max' either who was an Fc United fan and whose funeral was yesterday. I guess if we had a one minute's silence for everyone that died we'd have one every game.

Next up, Buxton v FC United, Saturday 6th March 2010, Kick off 3:00pm. This game is to be played at The Silverlands, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 6QH. Due to capacity issues this game will be strictly all ticket on the instruction of the local authorities and entrance to the game will only be allowed on production of a valid ticket. Those supporters unable to make the North Ferriby and Ossett Town home games tickets will be available to purchase from The Vault Public House situated on Buxton Market Place from 10am on Saturday 6th March. FC United supporters will again have the Scratching Shed and the Allotment End (entrances will be signposted). Ticket prices £8 Adults £5 Concessions (Under 16’s, students with a valid union card and over 60’s)
Directions: From Stockport (A6): Turn left at first roundabout, turn right at next roundabout, right at traffic lights (London Road pub) to Buxton Market Place. After two sets of pedestrian lights turn right at Royles shop then turn immediate left and follow road approx 500 metres to ground (opposite police station.).
From Bakewell (A6): Turn left at roundabout on to Dale Road and follow road to traffic lights, then as above. From Macclesfield/Congleton/Leek: Follow road to Burbage traffic lights and take right fork in the road at the Duke of York pub (Macclesfield Road.) Then at next traffic lights turn left (London Road pub) and follow as above.
From Ashbourne (A515): Go straight on at first traffic lights (London Road pub) and follow directions as above.

FC United Manchester will be back in the football league as the first co-operative football club (not a capitalist business) very soon as long as we keep on supporting "our" club. Is MCFC a "club" or an Arabs get-me-famous-quick tool or MUFC anything more than a get-me-rich-quick operation for some Yank multimillionaires?
