BURY boss Alan Knill has admitted that he has found it difficult to focus on the visit of Dagenham and Redbridge at the weekend following the tragic news of Keith Alexander's sudden death.
While the Shakers boss is hopeful of picking up a win, he acknowledges the news put football into perspective.
"A win is important but not at as important as your health," he said.
"It's something you just don't expect. I'm absolutely devastated and my feelings go out to his family. He's a big loss to football."
Knill does have a few fitness problems ahead of the game, with talisman Stephen Dawson (hamstring) doubtful and Paul Scott (knee) out. Ryan Cresswell has a slight ankle knock but Efe Sodje is another option for the Shakers.
Bury league form: WLWDD
Dagenham league form: WLWWD
Key opponent: Josh Scott: striker into double figures for the season and will be a threat
Prediction: Bury 2 Dagenham 1 - a really tough game for the Shakers but if Dawson makes it they should come through
