OLDHAM Athletic Girls and Womens FC saw two of their sides exit the Oldham Girls League Knockout Cup last weekend.

The under-11s were beaten 5-3 in their tie at Uppermill, while the under-13s exited the cup in the quarter-finals, losing 6-0 against Harpurhey United.

However, there was better news for the under-10s and under-12s, both of whom won league games against Heyside Angels.

The under-10s were victorious 11-0 thanks to goals from Tia Jackson, Olivia Stagg (four each), Sian Greenwood, Lauryn Oldham and Megan Tindall.

There was a 1-0 victory for the under-12s side courtesy of Abbie Bennett’s strike.
