HEYSIDE Angels’ under-16s’ claret side were beaten 3-2 by ROCS in last weekend’s Oldham Girls League match despite goals from Emma Harte and Jessica Bromley.

However, the under-13s’ claret squad were comprehensive 14-0 winners against Chadderton Park thanks to goals from Beth Mellor (five), Kelly Ward (four), Shannon Ryan (two), Ashleigh Beverley, Sarah Hardman and Emily Shaylor.

The Inter squad saw off Oldham Athletic Girls 2-1 with Danielle Partington scoring both goals.

The under-11s’ Inter side beat Curzon Ashton 5-1 with Jade Hughes (three), Hannah Smedley and Georgia Lowe scoring, while the clarets beat Oldham Athletic Girls 11-0 with Ashleigh Wylie, Ella Milovanovic, Alicia Stretton (three each), Ellie Deakin and Kayleigh Egerton netting.

There was a 13-0 win for the under-10s’ navy side over Moston Juniors, the goals from Ella Rigby (four), Lavinia Whitehead, Molly Taylor (three each), Emily Kay (two) and Caitlin Patterson.

The white team drew 2-2 With Elton Sports Club, Hannah Ransome and Emily Pennells scoring, while the under-12s were beaten 3-0 by Curzon Ashton.
