YOUR opposition to plans to scrap the Metrolink extension have been made loud and clear on Tony Blair's doorstep - more than 40,000 times over.

Advertiser news editor Jamie Whitehouse was part of a delegation - including representatives from our sister papers, MPs and council and transport bosses - who travelled to 10 Downing Street yesterday (Thursday) to deliver 41,500 signatures of people from across the area opposed to the 'Big Bang' extension being withdrawn by the Government.
