MOSTON Juniors and Whitemoss Juniors Under 14 football clubs both enjoyed successful seasons last time out.

They compete in the Tameside Sunday and Saturday Leagues respectively.

The close links between the two clubs ensure that many players from wide backgrounds get to play football at a high level with several progressing to academy level.

Last season saw unparallelled success with the Moston side winning the Manchester Youth County Cup (the highest honour for junior football) and the Knockout Cup while coming runner up in the League and the League Cup. To add to this, the WhiteMoss side won the League title and came runner up in the League Cup.

However, to ensure the long term success of the partnership, the clubs are looking for new young players in the age range five to seven years of age to start up new teams and hopefully find more success.

Any players who are interested can turn up for the training sessions at 6pm on Thursdays on Broadhurst Fields Moston or contact Paul Mitchell on 07717 767093 for more details.

The teams are pictured above.
