FC United manager Karl Marginson has jumped to the defence of full-back Lee Neville after his dismissal in the Rebels’ goalless draw at North Ferriby left him facing a second ban in less than a month.

Neville, making his return from a three-match suspension, received a straight red card after appearing to elbow Ferriby’s Wayne Brooksby in the face and will now have to sit out a further four games.
