NEDUM Onuoha, Stephen Ireland and Stephen Jordan were all in action as City's reserves were held by Everton.

The Blues took the lead through Ashley Grimes' 59th minute strike.

However, Mark Hughes levelled with 20 minutes to go, report www.mcfc.co.uk and Joe Hart had to be alert to keep out James Vaughan's late effort for the Toffees.

City: Hart, Jordan, Onuoha, Mills, D'Laryea, Johnson, Clayton (Marshall, 79), Laird, Grimes, Ireland, Moore.

Interesting as M.Mills and Onuoha could be the future centrebacks.

Rix76... I presume you've never seen Mills play then! More chance of DannyMills having a future at City! But more importantly, where are Etuhu, Sturridge and Miller?

All have the potential, that's why they are there. Only a couple will make it though, that's the way it is. Johnson and Laird look the best of the newcomers with Moore and d'Laryea also impressing at times. Ireland and Onuoha are very close, I hope they step up that extra bit and don't do a Flood/Croft on us!

Whats wrong with Danny Sturridge? Is he injured? Not seen him in a team line up for awhile now.

Sturridge is injured out for aprox 5 weeks.

Sturridge, despite being selected regularly on these pages, has been injured since beginning of september. Can anyone who has seen Ched Evans play give their thoughts on him (ie. prospects to break into first IX) as he seems to score a lot of goals at U18 level.

Iam totally neutral please do not believe in the spin, I hate to be blunt but Its my opinion only, the above mentioned are simply not good enough,I would put them on the next 53 that comes along,except d'laryea whom Ive seen play as a 10 year old,they have all skill eradicated if they had any to begin with,MARK MY WORDS

This Nathan D'Laryea has been playing in the reserves for donkeys years and now he's the captain... what's his story? He's never seemed to be close to getting a call-up to the first team, he's 21, I'm surprised he hasn't been moved on

Ched seems a bit light to me, Blau, though he is only a kid! He seems to have a good instinct for where the onion bag is and he will make a living from the game. Hope the club can bring him on further because, with the right coaching and a bit of strength work, I could see him alongside Sturridge in the first team banging 'em in for fun!!
