LANGLEY  Celtic’s FA Carlsberg National Cup odyssey takes in a third round tie against AFC Lobster from Liverpool

The tie takes place at Salford City’s Moor Lane ground on Sunday 6 December, kick off 2 pm.

Lobster are Liverpools oldest and most succesful Sunday league side. They have been going for 50 years, won the the national cup back in 1979 and have won the most Liverpool titles (seven) as well as several cup competitions.

In this year’s competition they have yet to concede a goal, winning in Hull 4-0 and Birkenhead 3-0 – this will represent a difficult hurdle for Celtic.

A Celtic spokesman said: "The management and players would love to be backed by a massive crowd, and it would be fantastic if we could repeat the support we had in the first round against Dawdon which was very vocal. Having been the first Manchester side to win in Liverpool for over 20 years, Celtic will be confident but not complacent."
